Time passes.
Whether slowly or quickly.
It depends on how you experience it.
But how do you experience something that does not truly exist?
A human construct, like so many others.
You experience it through illusions, through delusions,
just like everything else that has been constructed
and has passed into the collective memory of humanity.
And they are many, so many,
the things humans have created
to cover the void of existence,
the absence of meaning.
The irony from the very beginning is that human life on planet Earth
is as if someone placed you here
without a single instruction for anything.
Neither for what you would encounter,
nor even for yourself.
And so, you discovered everything on your own.
You discovered the basics:
hunger, cold, heat, day, night,
illness, decay, death.
You learned, you suffered, you fell and you rose again.
Again and again.
Once, you lived simply,
honoring the gift of existence.
You lived as presence,
knowing what it means simply to be.
You had awareness of the whole, of creation,
and of your place within it.
But you did not stop there.
You began to search for meaning outside yourself.
You wanted to name everything,
to put labels on all things.
To draw boundaries, to own, to belong somewhere.
You stopped looking inward.
You placed all the weight on external factors.
And there, the countdown began
toward your separation from your being,
from the meaning of creation,
from simply existing as presence.
You turned the air leaving your lungs
into words and numbers.
Your vision into thoughts and conclusions.
And many unnecessary and foolish things surfaced from within you:
suspicion, cunning, lies.
Thirst for power, domination, exploitation.
You gave value where it did not belong.
You gave human existence a meaning
outside itself, outside creation.
You measured everything,
named everything,
labeled everything
that was not enough for you
to simply coexist with.
You separated yourself from the whole,
with the illusion that you are something apart from it.
And the result of this shift
is what we live today,
daily, in its full extent.
With the cost and consequences
of separation from the whole,
from the meaning of simply being.
Now you exist by paying rent.
You no longer have the right to exist
without giving account,
without paying in order to be.
Otherwise, you do not live.
You do not exist.
You merely survive.
With anxiety over an artificially constructed time.
With fears and insecurities over a fake,
artificial, colorful piece of paper
upon which your survival depends.
You set aside the joy of existence, of life,
and adopted everything that deprives you of it.
Everything that gives you the illusion
that you are worthy only if you work,
only if you consume.
You believed the truth of the masses,
the truth of appearances,
of having instead of being.
You were promoted by your own kind
into emptiness.
You lost contact with your soul.
With your being.
With the whole.
You learned to be careful in order to have.
At the cost of indifference
toward the weak,
toward people with problems,
with difficulties in survival.
You put on mask after mask
to protect yourself from exposure to others.
To your mirrors, in essence.
You defend with fervor and fanaticism
everything that was loaded onto you
and made you believe it is truth.
A truth disguised and filled
with exploitation, fear, and insecurity.
Everything that insults and diminishes
human existence,
the right simply to be,
was normalized.
You overlook everything
that pulls you away from what you are,
everything that unsettles you,
that calls you to awaken
to your true nature.
You buried humanity
and replaced it with one concern:
to feed the system at all costs.
You made the irrational logical.
The natural unnatural.
Evil, good.
You destroyed, distorted, leveled
almost everything
on this planet.
So what are you, in the end?
Human?
Zombie?
Excess?
The center of all things?
What?
Nothing and everything.
All and nothing.
Worthy and unworthy.
A supposedly civilized, empty vessel.
Truth, no matter how harsh or raw it is spoken,
will always hurt,
will always unsettle,
will always shatter illusions and delusions.
Many will see.
Few will feel.
But if you see,
you cannot unsee.
There is no return
to safety.
You will no longer fit back in.
